Trying to remember an old book

I read a book when I was about 12ish, which I can't get out of my head (I'm 26 now).

The story was about a young girl who had gone to stay with some relatives (I think).

But I do remember that she went to a grave yard and every time she put on a ring which transported back in time. She met up with a young man every time she went back in time and then fell in love with him. I would love to read it again. Please help me remember the author and title! I think it was a Canadian publisher if that helps?

Thanks ellen80, but that doesn't ring a bell, I borrowed the book from a friend who brought it in Canada. The front cover was a drawing of a young girl sat next to a grave stone with a ring on the palm of her hand.

Hmm, that sounds like a book I read when I was about 8-9 I think it was something like the silver ring...sounds familiar, could be the same book...
