Does anyone know what this painting is called?
It has a black racehorse on the right, with a Victorian gentleman in a top hat holding the reins. Next to him is a stable lad and the jockey in a green cap and green and white hooped shirt. There is a tall tower in the background. The horse is painted in the style of Stubbs.
Would really appreciate it if anyone could help.

Not much help but it could be by Sir Alfred Munnings ..he did a lot of paintings of racehorses and such like.Sounds like his style.

Many thanks shaneystar. My picture wasn't by Munnings in the end,but when I googled him it led me to a site where I found my picture. I had to trawl through 40 pages out of 42 but it was worth the effort.
Cheers
