I know that this is probably not the correct section to ask this question in, but none of the others seem apt either.

I have a large album of photographs of London Zoo from about 1895. The album is intact, but my mother destroyed a few pages with superglue and family photographs. The Zoo photographs are all intact.

I have a gentleman who is offering to buy them, he was referred to me by the Zoo and I presume that is a good reference.

He asked me how much to sell them for - there are over 60 in varying sizes. I don't know where to start when working out a figure like that. I have surfed around the internet for clues, but it is an area in which I have no knowledge at all.

Can anybody help me or at least point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

spudqueen - mines are 50 + years older. Most of mine are about A5 sized. I saw the ones that you gave me the link for yesterday but to be honest I don't know if this is a reasonable price or not.

I am lost. My brother says that some of the bigger auction houses do on-line valuations for free (nice amount!). Even if they can give an approximate amount.

Thanks for finding the link for me. "long live Ebay".
