book title/author buggin me!

Hi wondering if anyone can help, i'm looking for a book which i read when i was younger - about 7-8 years ago, when i was about 12-13. It was like in the style of a POINT HORROR book - but not. I remember the cover had a picture of a spiders web/cracked windshield of a car. The story revolved around a group of gifted teenagers who had psychic/mystical powers. Because of their abilities scientists wanted to study them and took them away to a camp. Later the teenagers try and escape. Thats all i can remember so if any can help i will love you forever - i have been searchin for this title for a longlong time! Cheers
