when I am broke, a lie in, cooked breakfast, lazy day and a good movie,
when i am flush, a fortnight on a Carribean beach, grrrrrrrrrrrr I have lined up a good movie this afternoon lol someone has to pay the workmen and oh, guess what it is me!!!!!
Then PJ's on, lighting candles, snuggling up on the sofa with a magazine, or watching a favourite tv programme, a large strawberry milkshake (skimmed) & a Fry's turkish delight!
Not often that I indulge in chocolate, but when I do it's bliss!
For me it has to be an indulgent shopping trip, followed by going somewhere where I can show off my new purchases. Other than that, it would be margeritas, an indian takeway or ice cream and mars bar sauce -mmm. (Not all together though.)
I am not a big fan of mars bars, but this is one of those things that tastes so much better than it sounds - here is the tried and tested recipe -
Chop the mars bars into tiny pieces, and put in a saucepan over the hob with some milk. (Amount of milk depends how runny you like it.) Keep stirring with a wooden spoon until all the mars bar bits have melted. Then pour the lot over a few scoops of vanilla ice cream and enjoy.
Trust me once you have had this once you will be addicted. I dont know why Mars dont sell it pre made - they would make a fortune.
