Executors fees.

When acting as an executor for a friend, would someone be intitled to any payment by law, for their work in helping to carry out the wishes of the decesed.
Hoping someone can help me answer this question.

You would be entitled to reimbursement of all expenses incurred.

Unless the will specified you were to be paid, you would not be able to claim any payment for the work done.
