Ah Ha, I think her real name is Sue Bentley and she also wrote the magic kitten series.

She wants to know about Daisy Meadows. Thanks but we already know about Amazon.
Daisy Meadows is the alias of Sue Bentley, best known for the equally glittery Magic Kitten series.

Sue Bentleys books for children often include animals or fairies. She lives in Northampton and enjoys reading, going to the cinema, and sitting watching the frogs and newts in her garden pond. If she hadnt been a writer, she would probably have been a skydiver or a brain surgeon. The main reason she writes is that she can drink pots and pots of tea whiles shes typing. She has met and owned many cats and each one has brought a special sort of magic to her life.

Thanks bird_81. You know so much about her that my daughter thinks you ARE Daisy Meadows but I'll leave you with your anonymity!
Please if Bird is Daisy Meadows, would she please write a book, starting "Madeleine the ...fairy". My daughter is obsessed by the books and we can never find anything with her name on! She would be SOOOOOOOOO thrilled!
