title of play

Hi AB'ers, a couple of years ago on TV i caught the end of a stage play, it involved what appeared to be WW1 soldiers, perhaps Scots, all appearing to have perished. The audience was very emotional. Can anyone name the play? I've never seen it since. The audience seemed to be around the stage. Thanks.

If you've mistaken an Ulster accent for a Scottish one, it may have been "Observe The Sons Of Ulster Marching Towards The Somme"

(I vaguely recall a stage version of it being on TV some time ago).

Thanks both, sorry I didn't get back to the quest but AB usualy sends me "you have an answer" email. I'll look into them both. A friend also suggests "Journey's End". I never heard any dialogue, there must have been a visual suggestion of the soldier's origins as the prog was ending with no survivors. Thanks again.
