rabbit expert needed! More babies...
3 Answers
My two female rabbits managed to produce two babies on Christmas Day. Dad was taken to a new home, but obviously not quickly enough as mum had three more babies yesterday.
The 4 week old babies are doing really well, but were trampling all over the newborns. I've removed them into another cage and left mum with the new ones.
The older two are eating solid food (have been for about a week) including carrot, hay and mix and have sussed out the water bottle. We were going to keep them, but now it'll be easier to find them homes and keep one or two of the 'new' babies with mum.
Will the older two be ok without mum now and also, when should I get them sexed?

Dad is fine in a new home and the older babies seem to be coping well without mum. We've got four, not three new babies and all ok. I let older babies out together for a run around and mum tried to mount them - why??
