There was a quote recently (In the Times?) about reading...

About 3 weeks ago someone told me about a quote they read in a paper (maybe the Times).

It was a letter writen to the paper by an inrate parent, complaining about the fact that their child was spending too much time indoors reading novels, and that they felt this was detrimental to soiciety.

Anyone see this quote and know roughly when it was, and what paper so I can find it.

I have access to a newspaper search engine. If you could give me the exact paper and exact key words I could find it for you.
I had a look yesterday but reading is obviously the same as Reading so I just got hundreds of articles about the place name!

My girlfriend has just reminded me it was in the week magazine. I should also have a newspaper search at work (forgot about that!) So I'll give it a go tomorrow, but if not will post any more details I can find.
