Of Mice and Men - Lennie Small

Can somebody help?? I am writing an essay on Lennie Small from of mice and men and I have all the basic outlines of this question -
Lennie's name is Lennie Small, state why this is both true and ironic
I need to find some original ideas to pop into my essay to boost it, apart from the obvious.

I don't see how you can say anything but the obvious. It's true cos his name IS Lennie small and it's ironic cos he's BIG. If they want original answers, they should ask original questions!

You could perhaps also draw a link to his limited intelligence being a parallel with the 'small' aspect
