Carl Foggarty's would possible be rubbish if you don't like Motorcycling but a brilliant insight to the world of Motorcycling if you do. Also the autobiographie of the Rock Band Motley Crew, thats a really good book and unlike many biographies had me really gripped all the way to the end. But again depends if your interested in the drug and sexual habbits of rock stars, but even if your not I'd still recommend it as its so good.

i agree, The Dirt, by Motley Crue is excellent, even though they as a band were not.

The biography of London by Peter Ackroyd is also a fantastic book, particularly if you live in the place.

and i know its not an auto-biog, but a city can't very well physically write its own story...

I read my own autobiography recently, but i got bored with it. (I'd heard it all before)

Murray Walker was a top read, but you'd have to be into motor racing else you'd get bored

Recently read the autobiography of Sir Nigel Hawthorne and found it excellent reading.

I recently read Frank Skinners autobiographie it was pretty good and was funny.

Richard Harold Bird "Dickie Bird" brilliant, down to earth. Michael Crawford, "Frank Spencer", an interesting read.

"Billy" by Pamela Stephenson, How, what, if & why, the man doesn't just tick, allowing for the"expletifs" (counted for you), but living life to the edge !! considering his upbringing ! A must read.
