Does anyone which type of pens are suitable for writing (and erasing) on glass? If so where in London or on the internet could I purchase some? Thanks

I think what you need might be a china marker. it is a wax pencil that seems to do the job. Just Google china marker and UK if you are in Great Britain.
Ask G-g-granville where Arkwright g-gets his from.
They are called Chinagraph pencils and used to be used in the pottery industry for marking the china and glassware.
