Princess Beatrice � another Royal on the lash

18 year-old Princess Beatrice was plastered all over yesterday's papers looking a little worse for wear after a drink-fuelled evening. She was apparently in high spirits despite being a little unsteady on her feet. Is she just a young girl having fun? Or is this young Royal a victim of Britain's binge drinking culture?

Unrulyjulie : She is a princess ( although look at her parents!) and should act with decorum. By all means, she should enjoy herself but not by drinking to excess. Its not healthy. She is still at school, she should be preparing for exams etc. She would not be with just her friends, there would need to be police protection on hand -paid for by our taxes. Wouldnt those policemen be better working to solve crimes?

exams or not, we all need an outlet sometimes and its not as if shes doing it every day so i dont see the harm. She may well be a princess but that doesnt make her any different from any other teenager whos studying hard and needs a bit of fun inbetween!

Nothing illegal in what she is doing, or has drinking in private become a social pariah?

Nothing wrong with her having a life - I bet there is not many of us who didnt have one or two too many at that age.
