This might sound a bit thick but can you confirm for me how it ends? Is the girl without her top on going out onto the veranda Alice??(or Rebeca Epstein) If so, does that mean the phone call earlier in the epilogue was her saying she's coming to see him? Thanks.

not sure about the phone call - will have another look but i think the girl is Rebecca Epstein because of the way she speaks (swearing for example) which sounds more like her than Alice... read it ages ago though. xx
