Can't remember the title

I have been humming a song I used to like but I can't remember the name of it. I thought it was just called 'Miss America' but googled it and the lyrics which I found were different. A line from the chorus goes like this "Well no-one knows you've been down this road but they call you Miss America." Can anyone please help?

there are several songs called "miss america".
the one that seems to contain the lines quoted was a minor hit (no 37) in 1991 for Scottish band The Big Dish.
