probably going to get in bother for asking,but here goes
can anybody give me a clue as to the title of the book which contains the following line?
"Mrs fleming lived down the hill from hampstead pond,in a big house with dirty windows" ?

I think all the hearts and minds of Answerbank have tried with this one and failed to find the answer. I doubt you�ll get told off, told to go to Quizzes & Puzzles maybe, but more likely some brute will come along and try to knock you down with a feather.

Try 'Day Job of a Jobbing Gardener' by Mark Wallington. In it , he refers to Mrs Fleming "who is convinced there is buried treasure in the bottom bed". It's based in Hampstead Heath.

thanks to both of you for taking the time to reply,and not having a go at me! bit of a coward daren,t try quizzes and puzzles,seems this quiz has got people hot under the collar,i did think that the whole point of ab was to ask for help!
