Darren Shan write-alike??

My son has become hooked on Darren Shan - but he has nearly completed the series, does anyone know of any writers that are very similar in content that may appeal to him? I think they are teen horror.

He could try the point horror series by various authors (can't remember any of the names). My daughter loved them in her early teens

Try the Goosebumps collection, also Christopher Pike does some good childrens horror.

One of my favourite authors, Graham Masterton, has written a few "teen horror" titles (some of them published in the "Point" range). Be warned, if your son wants to progress to GM's non-teen books some of them are EXTREMELY gruesome and he occasionally puts the time he spent working for Penthouse into use with fairly graphic sex scenes. Vet them first!
