Pictures on a Page by Harold Evans

I'm looking for a copy of 'Pictures On A Page' by Harold Evans. It's out of print and (in my opinion) is the best book on photojournalism I've ever read. I've found a few different copies online (the 1997 revision), but they're around �80 (gulp!) Can anyone recommend any similar books in print, or even better, where I can locate a copy of Pictures On A Page? Much appreciated folks - cheers!

Had an original of that book but sold it.

Photojournalism there are other highly recommended books - try Don McCullin, try Tim Page. War photographers yeah but ehat photographs.

Try biblio.com in case there are copies floating around United States; always the best bargains in books and fast service.

Hi, also recommend Eamonn McCabe "The Making of Great Photographs," which is available in paperback, too.

biblio.com is currently holding a secondhand 1978 copy, in good condition, in California for 50 dollars (�35 stg) plus shipping. Sounds fairly good. The other prices on the site are off the scale!!!! Have a look yourself

There is a copy for sale on ebay (1978 version) on a buy it now, for �19.33 (plus postage of �18 to the UK from America), which I thought was quite good. Total cost approx. �37.33

There is also another one for sale, slightly dearer, by a member in Australia.
