Downloading pix on to laptop - cable needed?
I bought a second hand Canon Ixus 400 camera off ebay but it didn't come with an instruction book or any cables etc. My dad's PC has a slot to put the memory card in to download the pix, but my laptop doesn't have this slot. How can I get the pix on to my laptop? Can you get a cable with a 'slot' on the end? I know, I know, I'm not very tech savvy! Have tried searching Canon and PC World sites etc for such a device but have no idea what the name of the thing I'm looking for would be... Help!

Or you could just nip down to tesco, jessops, PC world, maplins .... or whichever friendly neghbourhood shoppe is most convenient.
I see that only the dearest readers are eligible for free postage .... so the cheapest 1.68 "bargain" will cost an extra 4.50 - a grand total of 6.18
far cheaper to spend less than the average postage costs on a propper bargain + bus ticket
