As its half term the queues will probably be long. I went a few months ago and it has changed a lot since I went the time before that. You get a tour rather than walking round at your own leisure. I think its gone a bit down hill actually. You'd be better off going to Madame Tussauds.
Hi Emu, went years ago, it was really good, don't know how busy it will be but it shouldn't be to bad, lots to see in that area, just over London Bridge is the Monument, well worth going to the top, also alng the embankment there is the "Clink museum," and you also have tower bridge, have a great time, Ray
It shouldn't be too bad. Though I would still recommend the fast track. There's a kind of holding area where you can look around exhibits before you go through to the main show and tour. But it's not entertaining enough to keep you for a long time.
As for the Dungeon, the tour is brilliant. It's quite scary and also quite funny. I won't give away any of the surprises, but it's definitely one of the better London attractions. I believe it's also been added to since I was last there.
i went last week before last, there was no queue to get in and we waited about 20 mins for the tour to start but that was mid week and not school holiday. The 2 for 1 tickets from network rail website are well worth using even if it does mean you cant fast track as personally i think the discounted price is far nearer true value for money than the inflated normal entry fee.It takes between 1&1/2 to 2 hours to go round and is good fun,the hangman ride at the end is now in operation ( subject of course to no unavoidable circumstansces on the day) but the boat ride was not working on either of my visits during the last year so is probably no longer a feature of the tour.
Thanks for all your answers! Had forgotten it was half term, think maybe we'll plump for fast track, if we buy cheap online tickets then can't get in cos of the queue it won't be much good! Have been to tussauds before so thought we'd try something different :-)
