Goya Painting

Richard Davenport Hines said that Goya's painting "Il sueno de la razon produce monstrous" (the sleep of reason produces monsters) was "perhaps the most important single image for the historian of the gothic". I cannot find where he said this. Was it in his book Four Hundred years of Excess, Horror, Evil and Ruin? if so can someone tell me which page its on?
