Am thinking of doing a Creative Writing course with a bias towards poetry. Any ideas. UEA Norwich (renowned for Creative Writing) do courses locally but these are expensive. I need some help in where to start.

the uea course will be a post grad one, which means you would need to have at least a 2:1 probably in english or literature. there are lots of creative writing courses available as correspondance courses, try your local library for details of adult education classes near you.

Thanks Moggyday. Actually the UEA courses give you Diplomas and Certificates in Continuing Education.(Diplomas are equivalent to two years of a degreee course) They work like Open University Courses, where you can do units and spread them over as long as you like. You don't need any formal qualifications to start. However, they are expensive and I just can't afford them at present.
