I am trying to find a catalogue of his works on the internet. I don't really want to buy a book of his works as they tend to be very expensive............and I shall use it only the once.

Anyone know a way I may gain access to a complete catalogue of his works?

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Tried that Rosetta,

but only a few of his works are included in a general catalogue

The same as on the internet, various galleries and websites only have a selection of his work.

I have tried various search phrases, but so far I just keep coming up with almost the same sites.

This looks like bad news Old Salt - his works seem to be widely scattered and no one online archive has even a representational collection. I would request the definitive book, which seems out of print, from inter-library loan. Your librarian will probably not like doing this and will grumble but stand your ground.
Or, depending on your location, request readership at a university library where the book is held (you can check in advance).
eg I know for a fact that there is a work in my local museum, not online anywhere, and this is going to be the case over and over again.

Thanks Lil O'lady

I do a lot of research for my writing, so I like to think I am fairly good at searching the internet. But, you have confirmed all my suspicions.

I am quite good friends with my local library, our writer's circle are even asked to give readings, from time to time.

I don't like to use her except when absolutely necessary, but looks like I will need her help on this

My sincere gratitude for you excellent response

Excuse me In A Pickle

I'm afraid I assumed too much. But, as I mentioned several times I had tried a lot of searches, and as your suggestion was the obvious choice, I felt no response was necessary.

However, in retrospect, I now see that my assumption does appear to be a little impolite, which I never intended.

Thank you very much for your response
