Devoloping Art Skills

Hiya all,

I recently have been looking at art all over the place and I feel I need to develop my skills (they really do need work!)

Anyway, the question is: Do you know any different types of art (e.g. Manga) as I want to experiment with different drawing styles. If so, please say and, if possible, any links to websites which can aid in the drawing style. Also, if you come across any links to websites which help with drawing (Non-specific types), please can you also put a link.

Lov3shy , it is not an area of expertease for me so I tried to think laterally
I dont know what your skill base at the moment but have you thought of enrolling in an art class via your local college. Some offer recreational course for beginners up to full time courses for those who want to study in greater depth. They would also be better placed in suggesting resources appropriate to your needs and interests.
Secondly, have you thought about using your local library for ideas. Sadly I was educated prior to the internet so books are always my first port of call rather than websites. Books may be able to provide the signposts you wanted.

Hi - I have the same dilema and feel the need to seek guidance and encouragement. I'm going to try a local college.....Anyway this site may hold some inspiration for you.
