Help please guys, my thirteen yr old daughter is getting in a real state about her french homework. My french is rusty but I've worked out most of the phrases, just one I'm not sure its :- 'Je peux avoir un style' Does it mean 'I can have a style'
Yep, it means "I can have style". A bit weird though!
Sure it's not stylo, instead of style? Stylo means pen. If there's a question mark, it would mean "Can I have a pen?", although in the informal speech.
Thanks guys, I think it might be stylo and Catriona, my daughter has copied it down wrong from the board. Yes pbeach french homework does seem easier these days. I quite fancy doing a french evening class, then I woudn't feel such a dimwit when my help is needed!!! (should have taken more notice at school, but didn't see the point of french then!)
