I have time on my hands and have always wanted to make the above as a hobby for my family and myself, has anybody ever tried it?

I made candles at school and also a soapmon a rope.

Try ebay for some diy kits , not expensive.

Yes, I make quite a few candles hun, using beeswax strips. These come in all colours, and the sheets are quite big, so it works out much cheaper than buying them, plus you can make them to how you like them.

Pink's right - hobby and craft shops might sell the sheets, but I get mine from a friend who runs a New Age shop.
