I read The Beastly Beatitudes of Balthazar B when I was ill in bed and bored to tears - I actually found it quite amusing and it cheered me up no end. However, I tried The Ginger Man and couldn't get on with it at all.

I found The Ginger Man depressing ... but, The Beastly etc. I enjoyed ... and the best one is probably The Onion Eaters!
