Cheap book source
10 Answers
I've just started a book club and will need to buy books regularly. The first book I bought from Amazon which was 1p but 2.95 postage and packing. Does anyone know a cheaper source, cos I don't want to have to pay that much for a 2nd hand book each time. Charity shops would be hit and miss, can't guarantee they'd have the set book available. Any ideas please.

Groups are sent lists of available titles each month and they have to select a couple of months in advance. Sometimes, if they have a particular requirement (one group likes plays, for instance), then they can request them. We also have social events two or three times a year where groups can get together and share their thoughts. And it's all free!
I'm sure we can't be the only library service doing this.
