What power is there in the locked room of the department of mystries

for all we know it could be anything, a fairy queen or maybe a gigantic troll, but i dont think its anything living but an object

Isn't the consensus of opinion that it's love? I seem to remember at the end of Book 5 Dumbledore telling Harry something about a power he has in great abundance which Voldmort doesn't possess at all and it's a power so great that there's a room at the department of mysteries which is kept always locked where they study it. He also says that it is because of this that Harry went without thought of his own safety to rescue Sirius, so, as I say, I think it's supposed to be love. However, I suppose it could be a fairy queen or a gigantic troll...
