Thank You! To those of you who laughed at me, thank you. Without you I wouldn't have cried. To those of you who just couldn't love me, thank you. Without you I wouldn't have known real love. To those of you who hurt my feelings, thank you. Without you I wouldn't have felt them. To those of you who left me lonely, thank you. Without you I wouldn't have discovered myself. But it is to those of you who thought I couldn't do it; It is you I thank the most, Because without you I wouldn't have tried. Author Unknown Would love to know what you all think about the above poem- thinking of including it in my 'happy' book. Many thanks. Warm wishes, Bea :-)

Oh Beatrice I think it's lovely :-)
It's a 'forgiving' poem isn't it? which shows a truly lovely person must have written it.

Yes, susan1958 it is a poem about forgiveness as well about being a survivor( turning the negatives into positives). Thanks Susan and Rinkins for your kind responses (i) (i) :-) Think this poem must go into the book am currently peicing together :-) Like the fact that this is by Anonymous also- will not need copyright permission :-)
Big hugs, Bea :-)

Will respond to constructive or positive words only :-) Clearly the book will be writing+ collating together is not for the cynics/pessimists or the negative individuals anyhow :-) It is a happy type of book to encourage + inspire others to live life to the maximum. Will include words from my heroes Helen Keller, Christopher Reeve and Oprah Winfrey, too.
Hugs, Bea :-)

I'm with you Zacsmaster.

I recently answered a question the tree hugging Beatrice posted in News and because I (and others) dared to disagree with her lefty views we were called names.
Hideous - the worst kind of mass-produced over-gooey schmaltz. Very telling when you look at who this person's 'heroes' are. Very sad.

Zacsmaster + all you cynics- If you want to pick holes in me fine, matters not to me, water off a swan's back, yet what are you all hoping to acheive?!. Say what you like. Am not arrogant - far from it-regardless of what you may think or say. Just want constructive comments only- balanced comments from balanced individuals. Will not apologise for my stance either. Like who I am- comfortable in own skin. Look forward to some more helpful individuals posting on here, soon, too. Am not forcing my opinions or book or positive thinking onto anyone so there is no problemo :-) anyhow. Big hugs to all, warmest wishes, Bea :-)
A question for you Beatrice...and I am not having a go at you but I genuinely want an answer.

You said you wanted constructive comments from balanced individuals, which is what you got.

My question is, why do you resort to name calling anyone who does not
a) completely agree with you?
b) does give constructive comments that are not in line with your syrupy way of thinking?

If you ask for comments, then comments (negative and positive) is what you will get.

If you can't take the rough with the smooth then don't bother posting at all.

Pah! She can't be bothered to answer. She's probably sobbing into a tree trunk as I write.

Love, hugs, kisses, syrupy noises, kittens, raindrops on roses, fluffy clouds etc etc Mrs overall :)
Bea has a neurological problem. She has been quite open about it on other threads. Just think very carefully before you say any more. She hasn't actually hurt anybody on here.

If people make foolish comments or are negative then will say that to them on certain occassions yet am never unkind or catty as it is not in my nature to be so. Yet, will not keep company with those who are not on my wavelength or see the glass as half empty- keep company with fellow optimists, people who choose love over fear + are inspirational like Oprah Winfrey or Patch Adams or anyone else dynamic. Will be assertive when needed, too. Do not need to respond to anyone or any q's that believe is wasting my precious time quite simply. Thanks LoftyLottie2- bless you, you are a big star. Am a big girl- can take any nonsense anyone throws my way as sure of who I am + negative words turn a deaf ear to anyhow. Listen all people that I respect + know me well + anyone else matters not to me, you see, as have plenty of friends to know that am an okay person. Important to be with people who build you up- this is vital. Can take constructive criticism from loved ones as know they mean well + want the best for me. There are some really good people here- listen to them + respond to them however :-) ;-) Important to not always reply + to sometimes ignore some posters.
Warmest wishes, Bea :-)
