Book about Faberge Eggs

About 25 years ago my parents gave me a book that I think was about Faberge Eggs and I remember that there were supposed to be clues to a treasure planted withinthe pictures and text.  Anybody know of this book and its title?

You may be thinking of Masquerade by Kit Williams which was series of text and picture clues to a real life buried treasure (a golden hare) which was eventually solved/found near Ampthill in Bedfordshire.
