why did 2 of my questions get banned.all i asked is who is whiffy,and the other was about hankies,what do you use paper or cloth .(leg dont answer we know you use your sleeve).are these offencive,and to who.(although i did put the hankie Q in arts @lit by mistake)

I posted a question the other week about "What's your fave ever line by a stand up comic or actor/ess in a comedy film" and that got zapped. The question itself was not offensive, and neither were any of the answers. I emailed the Ed but go no response. I am quite at a loss to understand why, when some of my earlier postings have been rather contentious, and yet they remained.

Some unsrcupulous people have 20 or more different usernames and gang up to ban people and threads.

Er no he can't, that's the whole point. If you make even a slightly disparaging remark about him (start with "fat diddy" if you are stuck), he will target you for ever, and ever, and ever.

Fortunately that has never happened to me.

I think you might be right, Gormless, about people having so many usernames. Some posting styles are spookily similar to other users'.

how can people have more than one username,would you have to have more than one computer to do that.and would you not get very confused.

The simple answer is that some people have more than one email addy and prob more than one fb profile. I have two different email addresses, but can honestly say that I have only one username on here. Perhaps the Ed, in his infinite wisdom, has not equipped the site to check for internet provider, when people attempt to register. Perhaps a conflict of interest, or something.

I've got windows Vista and can have numerous `tabs' open with each tab opened on Answerbank but each AB registered with a different identity. I'm going to try it!

More than one email address? That is not allowed, how do you do it? It just occurs to me that with multiple email addresses you could have loads and loads of usernames on here. I wonder if anybody else has spotted this, it's certainly opened my eyes this evening.
