i read a book in 2005 that i dont remember the title of if someone could help please. the book starts with a young man going to africa to find diamonds there he befriends a man who provides him with supplies to go find diamonds when he returns with diamonds the man cheats him out of his share and leaves him for dead. with the help of an african man he becomes very rich by robbing the diamond field of the man who cheated him and almost killed him then he returnes for revenge. he gets the only daughter of the man pregnant and refuses to marry her the story goes on about how the girl gets him to marry her and accept their son when he does they have a daughter then his son is killed and the man dies the story then goes on about the daughters life but ends with the twin grandaughters life one is good and one is evil the story ends at the great great grandmothers 100th bday party
