I recall a sculpture by Henry Moore situated outside York Minster / opposite the Minster school under a group of trees. The area where the sculpture laid is still empty. Was Moore's sculpture moved when the more recent statue of Augustus was placed directly outside the Minster? Where has it gone? I belive it was titled "Female figure in Repose" or something like that.

We believe that Moore's sculptures benefit from a change of location from time to time, so that they can be appreciated in different types of settings - landscape or architectural, and provide exposure to Moore's work in different parts of the world. This sculpture can now be seen in the sculpture garden at the Museum of Modern Art in Tel-Aviv. Other casts can be found nearby at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and also in Tamarind Park, Honolulu; Hofstra University; Nelsen-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City; private collection on loan to Philadelphia Museum of Art.
