I am looking for a play to take on for my y12 drama exam. We have no stimuli, so the play can be absolutely anything, and I'm looking for ideas!

I would be particularly interested in a play that would have 1 male character and 2 female characters, but I'm open to all suggestions. I'm really interested to hear all ideas!

Thanks.

Have a look at Teechers by John Godber.  It's a bit difficult to do as quite complex, but it's very very funny & if you pull it off would be a great hit!  1 male and 2 females.

Good luck!

Cool like the sound of that!! Still open to lots of ideas from other people tho! :-P

Can't seem to find a script online though which is disapointing! Can anyone shed light of where this could be found?

I doubt you'd be able to get it free online.  I think you'd be able to buy it from Amazon, or from a decent-sized bookshop.

Make sure you spell Teechers like that (not Teachers) when you're looking for it.

Maybe your drama tutor would have a copy - it's a very popular play.

I did Blood Wedding by Frederick Lorca for my theatre studies A Level and I thought that was brilliant - dark and moody and Spanish - but I don't know if that would be your kind of thing.  It has a few more characters as well, but parts of the play only have a couple of characters.  Alan Ackburn (?) has done some short plays which are quite good...
