Dead digibox

My digibox (Philips) isn't working except for the date. There are no television channels. When I press the red reset button at the front of the box nothing happens. When I press the open/close button for a DVD, nothing happens. When I press the "menu" button on my remote control, it doens't show the same boxes as it did before I re-tuned it the other day. I've read through the troubleshooting page in the user manual book, but it doesn't help me. That re-tuning is to blame for this even though I followed the instructions to the letter - and that was 3 times because the window demanding a re-tune came up twice again after I had already done it.

Has anybody else had this trouble? What is the solution?
