What Does This Mean?
1 Answers
Whilst reading various articls recently, especially on MSN I have come across a sign I am unfamiliar with. It appears with a sum of money and is an "A" with an inverted v over the top of it like a little roof. For example: A (with the inverted roof) £150.00. What does this signify?

I don't think it signifies anything more than a minor software incompatibility. If you need a more detailed answer, I suggest that you post your question under Technology\Computers. As an alternative to special symbols like £, you could use the standard ISO abbreviations for currency such as GBP, USD, JPY etc., as these are strings of standard ASCII characters which any software can cope with.
