If you question is "who wrote it?", it was the American poet Walt Whitman, and it is from his collection "Leaves of Grass. The first lines are: I celebrate myself, And what I assume you shall assume, For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.
Lar lar lar yes its me, its me! tum ti tum ti tum..... There you go! its a song of myself :-)
Or there was that Beautiful South song - I think it was called 'song for myself' - 'I love you from the bottom of my pencil case ' - that one?
