If this is part of your revision, I suggest that you locate the copy and read through it thoroughly.

It's all based on a story of a panda that walks into a bar/restaurant, orders food, fires a gun into the ceiling then walks out.
The punch-line involves the phrase 'eats, shoots and leaves'.
The inclusion of the comma after the word 'eats' is the critical point of the joke.
