Gertrude mary or mary gertrude trafford

born june 1875 in Buslingthorpe linconshire, her moter died when she was 4, her father went away to work and left her with his parents John and Elizabeth Trafford, the grandmother died and then the grandfather died in 1908 and named gertrude in his will, her father died in 1908. I can't find a marriage for sure, nor can I find a death or her unmarried and so i guess she had married sometine after the will in 1908. Would craft or rose have a look at the 1911 please? Pribably in Belchford Lincolnshire?

ahhh thanks for that, so she was 35 in 1911 and still not married, at least it's a better starting point I guess. I think I'm going to look at Find My Past subscription again as I seem to have alot of family mis-transcribed and messed about with on ancestry, though I'll still keep the ancestry sub. going. I've had an email today offering a discount so i;ll have a look at the choices.

well done for finding that, it looks right and I might order the certificate because I'd like to know where she was and what she was doing.

I took a punt on a certificate (and it was a long shot) and it arrived yesterday, and turned out to be the correct one...........I am now wallowing in new names to research.

I've decided that I may as well go ahead and sort these loose ends out, as there is always the chance a clue turns up on a certiicate to make another link.
