Price of 2nd hand college books.

I have a few 3rd level college books in excellent condition. What percentage of the new shop price should i expect to get from a second hand book shop. It would probably be better for me to sell to other students directly but i am not iin a position to do so. Any suggestions would be welcome.

It's many years since I did it but my local university bookshop used to offer 30% of the new price which they would sell on to others at 50%. This only applied if they were the latest editions, otherwise they were worthless.

maybe 20-30% but it would depend if they're in demand, out of print, overtaken by later editions etc

put them on ebay but check first to see if any like yours are for sale then it will give you some idea of the price
