Is canapsious a word?

If so how do you spell it? I take it to mean ignorant.

Canapcious with a C only gets 2 as well.
Not in any standard dictionary, but may well be a local dialect word.
Carnaptious, perhaps? (Doesn't mean ignorant, though.)

I'd say that's it swedeheart, thanks. When I say ignorant I sort of mean arrogant, obnoxious, annoying, rather than meaning simple or naive.
It is in the Scots Concise as meaning irritable or quarrelsome. Also spelt curnaptious.
Canapcious or Canapsious is a word used mainly in Ireland to describe someone who can be deliberately awkward or stubborn or just plain ignorant? .. quite a nice word to describe an a'sole?
