Cutting guidelines for what - is it like a grid so that you can cut it straight?
Ah, but what you don't get with the expensive paper (which you do get with the cheapie stuff) is the fun of watching the unwashed street vendor (with a tattie Christmas hat perched precariously on his head) flogging the stuff with a cry of "Last few rolls left, ladies an' gents", while peeking around the corner to check that his stash of several thousand 'spare' rolls hasn't been nicked ;-)

Yes ....... brilliant idea!!!
One year I had the 'bright' idea of wrapping each child's presents in one colour/style fo paper - it was flipping chaos as I got so confused. Have resorted to wrapping the presents and putting the initials on in felt marker (written very big).
it sounds like having a crossword with all the answers in the grid..sorry but i think that is rather sad...but then again i have got manflu so maybe im being grumpy....
What a good idea. I could do with a parcel sizer, I always end up with loads of paper on the ends which I have to cut off when its ready to be stuck down.
i wrap most bday presents with newspaper. Better for environment. Feel bad doing that at xmas though. But i have had cheap paper with guidelines.
That is a good idea but I find the expensive metallic/shiny/hologram stuff a right pain in the behind to wrap neatly.
Agree prudie, no way will it fold or crease nicely.
Can you hire people to wrap presents?
probably tigger but make sure they're not gangsta wrappers - boom-boom
if you use the clear-spot self-adhesive see through dots to stick the heavier quality wrappin paper it gives a neater finish
I've got it sorted this year - sending the husband shopping next week in a mad blitz and then, because the kids will be home from school, he can take it back to his showroom and wrap it all there. Problem solved!
Lol Prudie.

sherrardk thats just wishful thinking!!!
It happens that way or he dies - seriously, we've got maybe ten things (which is not going to go far when we have 5 children) in the garage so he will have to go and get them, wrap them and keep them in the showroom until Christmas Eve (and this includes stockings). Fingers crossed it doesn't snow or we will be here and Christmas will be 20 miles away.

sherrardk.......I thought you were hinting you wanted a car for Christmas and after he'd bought it he was to take it back to the showroom until Christmas Day!!!
