Re the burning yellow underpants -
I know several people have suggested 'Liar Liar', which in many ways makes total sense.
(Liar, liar, pants on fire).

But I have doubts.
Firstly, the quiz text states that there are hidden clues to 50 *programmes*. Is a film a programme?

Secondly, if it IS 'Liar, Liar', it would be the only film amongst the whole 50.
I know it was shown on tv recently, but I can't help doubting it's the right answer.

Has there been a drama (not a film) called 'Liar, Liar' on tv of which I'm unaware?

But, if not the film 'Liar, Liar', I'm afraid I can't suggest what else. :(

Cheers...but i'm afraid the programme has to have been on tv during 2010.
But thanks for searching.
I have to agree Lemonskinny - There was no films in the last 2 years
of these quizzes - just programmes. So while I cannot come up with an
answer at present, I don't think they would now throw a film in - it does
say programmes.
I think it is 'scoundrels' as there was an episode called liar liar pants on fire.
Lemonskinny : How impressed I was with the W&G link which you sent yesterday afternoon. Please could you tell me how you were able to find it? It had me completely stumped.
Now you've got me doubtful of the Liar Liar Pants on Fire answer, and I wonder if it's a mistake on the compiler's behalf.
What do you think about '30 Rock' for the stones in the street?

quizzymissy:
Actually, there was one film last year - 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. However, the format was slightly different last year, in that they said that the clues were for things to be shown over the two week christmas period. Everything could be found in the same Radio Times.
This year, of course, they're for things shown over the last 12 months.
But, I'm still unsure it's "Liar, Liar"!

butterfly46:
Yes, i found that myself the other day after a bit of googling. But it's only the title of one episode from many, so I doubt it's that.

I knew that there's a current Wallace & Gromit series on tv. Even though i hadn't watched any episodes, i'd noticed it on the iPlayer. So i found out it's full title from there (Wallace & Gromit's World of Invention), typed that into google images, and chose the first pic i saw that had a clear view of the microphone.

oh, and the 30 rock idea - yes, that was the first thing i thought it might be - there are about 30 rocks! BUT - as far as i can tell, it's only been shown on Comedy Central, and these quizzes tend to use programmes shown on the more main channels. But who knows! (not me)
