4 Answers
my partner and I came up with the idea around a month ago to go away on holiday for new years.we have been setting our heart on it as we think it would be a great way to start the year but haven't wanted to book anything because I had to apply for a passport for my little boy.
my little un's passport has come through but now the bad weather is badly affecting the airports so we are wondering whether we should can the whole idea. we would be flying from Manchester on Jan 1st. what do people reckon...to book or not to book?....

We haven't had that much snow in Leeds/Bradford area this time around, but it's quite icy. If I had a choice now I would have waited another 6 weeks. But it's a gamble, you can never tell at this time of year.
