What's the best place to sell books online? I know ebay, but are there any specifically for books and has anyone had experience of them?

Have you used GreenMetropolis?

amazon, i'd forgotten that!
I buy all my books from either eBay or Amazon, so when I've done with them, I sell them on either of them too. Reasonable success!
I sell a lot of books on Amazon. It is so easy to list things - much quicker than ebay because the product is already described etc. The downside is that you can only list books that are already there (unless you become a power seller).
I've bought from here before but never sold although you can:

I've never used green metropolis sorry - someone told me about it but I've got that many books, I never got round to it
AbeBooks run a buyback service or they can put you in touch with their local booksellers

grasscarp, there is a new feature on eBay now, you can list the ISBN of the item and a pic pops in, with all the publication details, just like it does on Amazon.
thanks for that Boxtops. I will investigate.
There is one called ebuyer as well but not so well stocked as the other two. I look at all of them to see which is the cheapest - I used to sell but now I only buy. I never pay full price because I think I am only going to read them and then pass them on to whoever wants them (my son, or the charity shop) so there seems no point.
ebuyer is an online hardware store and will not allow you to sell books.
Perhaps I've got the name wrong square. I'll have another look when I have time but last time I looked they sold everything - secondhand of course.
