Hello all (: I've heard that best way of whitening your teeth at home is to use a mixture of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide.
By hydrogen peroxide, do they mean, for example, the type of peroxide used to store contact lenses? Would this be a safe thing to use?

Use lowest, Volume10 but over use will damage natural tooth enamel.

Hydrogen peroxide can be bought in different strengths ("volumes") BUT I wouldn't use it anywhere near the sensitive skin in my mouth - there's a strong possibility of damaging the skin- after all, it is an oxidising agent ( think bleach!)
Dentists apply oral protection with infrared treatment.

I recommend professional treatment.
There are so many affordable options out there now - safer too - either at your dental office or from the pharmacy. Please don't concoct your own mixture - hydrogen peroxide can burn the sensitive tissues around your teeth rather easily so please go with the pre-done kits you can purchase
