Why do men stop growing hair on their head and then it starts to grow out of their noses and ears? What triggers this? do we have hormones at that age? mmm or is it just mother nature?

Sorry I can't help but I just want to say that if you have hairs sprouting from your nose and/or ears, please get rid of them.  Seeing men like that makes me stomach churn. . .you'll soon be a babe magnet if you do  :P
'Middle age: when God takes the hair from your head and puts it in your ears' - Bruce Willis. And I don't know about MissCommando's advice - it'd take a lot more than shaving my nose to make me a babe magnet.
The good thing about being a middle aged lady is I can't see my husbands nasal or ear hair without putting my glasses on! (and likewise - he can't see my wrinkles! and grey hairs)  Nature is wonderful!!
Miss Commando - if only it was easy. Its also disgusting for those that have it, but grows so fast and there is no easy way to get rid of it. Those 'nasal clippers' you see advertised aren't effective, scissors are difficult to operate especially on the 'wrong ear'.
It doesn't actually grow there, but falls through the head and out of the nose and ears, just a matter for gravity!!!
