Hair wax/gel

My hairdresser has recommended hair wax gel. I have heard of the wax in a jar, but I haven't seen wax gel. Can anyone let me know if they use this product, and any recommendations? Many thanks.

They're separate items. Gel gives body to fine/thin hair; Poundland sell it.

I suspect she probably just meant wax and added the word gel by accident.
